Coalition Publica is launching a call for applications for scholarly journals wishing to be disseminated on the Érudit platform (erudit.org) as of January 2023. The journal should submit its application before Sunday, April 24, 2022. Applications received after this date may be evaluated for the following year.
Selection Criteria
To be eligible, applicant journals must meet the following criteria:
The journal must follow a rigorous and independent peer review process.
At least one third of the journal’s editorial committee must be made up of researchers affiliated with a Canadian post-secondary educational institution and/or the journal must be owned by a Canadian not-for-profit organization.
The journal must publish at least six scholarly articles per year.
The journal must have been published for at least two years as a peer-reviewed scholarly journal.
The journal must be related to a social science or humanities discipline.
The journal must publish primarily in English and/or French.
Process
Complete the online application form at https://forms.gle/KGtkzj2ySC4Ss5768
Érudit’s Scientific Committee will examine the applications and will approve, reject or outline conditions for the inclusion of the journal on the erudit.org platform.
Choose a type of digital production. Érudit will provide applicant journals with a proposal with two options:
Minimal XML (metadata tagging in XML, dissemination of articles in PDF format)

Full XML (metadata and full text markup in XML, dissemination of articles in PDF and HTML; other formats also available (e.g. ePub))
Sign contracts between the journal and Érudit. Contracts must be returned to Érudit before September 1, 2022, otherwise the journal cannot be integrated in 2023.

About Coalition Publica
Coalition Publica is a partnership created by Érudit and the Public Knowledge Project dedicated to the advancement of research dissemination and digital publishing in the social sciences and humanities in Canada, specifically designed to support the SSH community in the transition towards sustainable open access. Coalition Publica will pursue this goal through the development of a non-commercial, open source national infrastructure dedicated to digital scholarly publishing, dissemination, and research—combining PKP’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) software and Érudit’s digital dissemination platform (erudit.org).
- Appel à candidatures 2023 -
Coalition Publica ouvre son appel à candidatures annuel pour les revues savantes souhaitant être diffusées sur la plateforme erudit.org dès janvier 2023. La revue doit faire parvenir son dossier de candidature avant le dimanche 24 avril 2022. Les dossiers reçus après cette date seront évalués pour l’année suivante.
Critères de sélection
Afin d’être admissible, la revue savante candidate doit au préalable respecter les critères suivants :
La revue suit un processus de révision par les pairs rigoureux et indépendant.
Le comité de rédaction de la revue est composé d’au minimum un tiers (⅓) de chercheurs/euses affilié(e)s à un établissement postsecondaire canadien et/ou la revue doit appartenir à un organisme à but non lucratif canadien.
La revue publie au moins six articles savants par année.
La revue doit avoir été publiée depuis au moins deux ans en tant que revue savante révisée par les pairs.
La revue est rattachée au domaine des sciences humaines et sociales, ou des arts et des lettres.
La revue publie principalement en anglais et/ou en français.

Le comité scientifique d’Érudit étudie la candidature et émet un avis positif, négatif ou conditionnel pour l’intégration de la revue sur la plateforme Érudit.
Choisir le type de traitement numérique: l’équipe d’Érudit fournit à la revue candidate un devis de production numérique avec deux options de traitement numérique:
– Traitement minimal (balisage des métadonnées en XML, diffusion des articles en format PDF).
Exemple: https://id.erudit.org/iderudit/1044609ar
– Traitement complet (balisage des métadonnées et du corps du texte en XML, diffusion des articles en format PDF, HTML et autres formats (exemple: ePub))
Exemple: https://id.erudit.org/iderudit/1055403arSigner les contrats entre la revue et Érudit. Les contrats devront être retournés à Érudit avant le 1er septembre 2022, sans quoi la revue ne pourra être intégrée pour l’année 2023.
